This beautiful graceful tree is know because of its graceful and twisting, curled branches.
It has a medium to high water requirement and will grow into a medium to large tree. Be aware where you plant it, as it’s water seeking roots, will find sewers and pipes. This tree can live to 30 years, and is fast growing. Deciduous.

The Elderberry is an erect plant that can be placed in full sun. It is a truly multi-purpose plant and can be used for a hedge, wildlife attractant, landscaping and for their abundance of fruit. This variety is often used for health benefits as it is the only variety considered to be non-poisonous even when the fruit is not cooked. The fruit is perfect for juicing, jams, tarts, deserts, cordials, wine or fresh fruit. This elderberry plant is easy to grow, care for and can grow up to 4m high.
Soil PH level of 5.5 – 6.5. Prefers loamy to sandy soil, but will also tolerate clay soil.
