What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Depending on your location, and the location of the products you’ve selected, you’ll be given delivery options (at checkout).
These options are individually offered by the vendor companies (and not by horti.co.za).
If you choose a local company, and they offer free delivery, you’ll be offered this. An option by this company might also be that you can pickup the order yourself. PLEASE WAIT for a notification from the company to tell you that your order is ready and waiting – before arriving to pick it up!

How Long Will it Take To Get My Package?

Different vendors have different delivery times. Please be assured that you will get a notification email when your package has been processed and is either ready for delivery or is on its way.

Delivery terms are normally specified by each vendor on their page. (and are also shown on the product details page).

How Do I Track My Order?

You can track your order by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.
(You’ll need your order ID number and your email.)

You will receive an email when your order has been processed and is on its way.

Do I Need A Account To Place Order?

No, you do not need an account to buy something.

However creating an account will speed up the process for any future purchases, or if you return to the website. For example it will remember your name, your address and your delivery (shipping) address. It’ll also remember any ‘wishlist items’ or items you placed in your cart. But it will not remember your credit card details – unless you specifically want this.

What about Covid-19?

All goods are sanitised to the best of their ability before leaving the warehouses and stores to be delivered to you.Key to remember is the following (which is mandatory by law):

  1. Always maintain a 1,5m distance from courier/delivery personnel, when collecting goods.
  2. No delivery personnel may enter your home if you and any/all residents in the immediate vicinity are not wearing face masks inside the house.

It is useful to have your own pen handy to sign the receipt document(s).

Receiving your delivery

Please arrange that you, or an authorised representative, is available to accept your order at the delivery address and that appropriate access is given. On delivery, we will require you to sign and print your/their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt.

Any person other than yourself who receives the order at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be available at the delivery address specified by you at the time of delivery, the driver will return the order. The courier company will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for re-delivery. Should no-one be available on the second attempt we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee.
We cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the courier.

Our delivery service is not authorised to modify or tamper with your purchase or residence under any circumstances. They are instructed to leave the order in a safe area on your property, if available, or it will be returned. Please note that we will not be liable for any damages if you have instructed the delivery company to modify, tamper or force the purchase through your entrance.

We request that you inspect your goods prior to signing the delivery document and ensure all goods are received in good working order and free of any damage.
