The Rustenberg Garden is a private garden, on Rustenberg Wine Estate, near Stellenbosch (Western Cape). The garden is opened to the public once a year for our Rustenberg Open Day.
The garden is a sublime mixture of English-style plantings and structured elegance. It’s a large farm garden with mature trees and unusual plants, surrounding the estates spectacular Cape Dutch buildings. The garden is made up of a series of ‘garden rooms’ each with a different theme, but essentially old English in style. The garden features an impressive double herbaceous border, which also includes many old-fashioned roses.
