They don’t like their roots being disturbed. Avoid limy or alkaline conditions for best results. They like frequent feeding and weekly watering.

‘William Wylam’ performs best in cooler, mist-belt or high-altitude gardens in South Africa, particularly in KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, parts of the Western Cape, and other areas with moist, temperate conditions. When planted in the right spot, it rewards with rich colour, tidy form, and reliable winter flowering, making it a prized addition to any garden that values seasonal beauty.
