Echium Pink Fountain. Commonly known as tower of jewels, this is a herbaceous plant which grows up to 3m in height.
It is a frost intolerant species requiring sustained periods of sunlight to thrive. A stunning, evergreen, triannual plant from the Canaries with lush, exotic foliage.
It takes two to three years to flower when it will produce tall spikes of pink flowers loved by bees and insects.
Best in full sun or light shade in well drained soil. Tolerant of light frosts, about minus 3 degrees or so.
Height in flower 2-3 m.
These are first year plants. They are open pollinated plants so the colour may vary slightly however, they will all be great plants.
A compact, ever-blooming treasure, Phygelius ‘Candy Drops Deep Rose’ is prized for its striking clusters of deep rose-pink tubular flowers that appear from early summer right through to autumn. These nectar-rich blooms are a magnet for sunbirds and butterflies, bringing vibrant life and colour to your garden for months on end.

Hydrangea serrata Grayswood
This is also one of my favourites : A small deciduous shrub with ovate leaves. Lace-cap flower-heads with blue central fertile florets surrounded by white sterile ones which turn with age to pink and crimson, flowering in late spring to summer – which is why it’s known as a Christmas Rose in South Africa. Or hortensia for Europeans.
Deciduous, flowers Nov-Mar (eventual height approx 1m).
The flowers are excellent for cutting
Half sun or shade.
Delicate flowers.
