This is a upright and fast growing lavender hybrid which flowers throughout the year. The blue purple flowers smell divine and are excellent for cutting and drying – for example for linen sachets and potpourris and to scent your room.
The plants do best in a well drained soil in a sunny part of your garden.
If you’re preparing the flowers for drying, cut them whilst fresh and hang them upside down to dry.Excellent also in pots, as a low hedge or in sunny dry spots in your garden. A Mediterranean inspired garden choice and very pretty when planted amongst ornamental grasses and in natural or formal gardens.

Alstroemeria, commonly called the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Alstroemeriaceae. They are all native to South America.
This form is variegated – it has beautiful white and green leaves. This Colorita Fabiana alstromeria is a naturally compact variety that will flower all summer long from early spring. Low maintenance and beautiful in containers or in the ground.

Banksia Rose (Rosa banksiae) is also known as The Lady Banks Rose.
It’s a thornless climbing rose, it flowers in Spring with miniature double white or yellow flowers appearing in clusters. The foliage is small and fern like. Banksia rose tolerates a wide range of soil types, but prefers well-drained moist soil which is rich with organic matter. It requires a sunny position if it is to flower well. Pruning is carried out immediately after flowering has finished at the end of Spring or early Summer. Don’t prune in winter!
Great for covering a fence or a bare wall, it will grow quickly to cover the area. It has almost thornless stems, making them easy to handle and prune and ideal for areas where pets or children will be playing. Banksia Roses are largely disease resistant and are low maintenance. They also work well as a ground cover rose.History: It’s part of the Rosaceae family and originated in China. The rose was named after the wife of a famous botanist Sir Joseph Banks.
