Veronica ‘Ronica Blue’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial valued for its upright architectural form and dense spikes of vivid blue flowers. A one year old tayberry plant in a 3L shrub pot
The Tayberry is a cross between the Blackberry and Red Raspberry plants with all the good qualities of the original genus such as the large fruit size, fruit firmness and vigorous growth of the blackberry, with the great taste and colour of the red raspberry. The plant bears edible fruit, perfect for jams, tarts, desserts, juices, teas or fresh fruits.
The Tayberry is a trellising shrub that should be placed in full sun, but can tolerate part shade. Soil PH level of 6.0 – 6.8. Prefers loamy, well drained soil. Cold hardy, but protection must be given in heavy frost areas. Well decomposed compost can be mixed in with the soil before planting. Fertilize in spring. Prune lightly in winter. A trellis or a fence can be used to support the growing branches which can grow up to 3m long.
Submerge the pot in water for 10 minutes before transplanting.

This variety is often used for health benefits as it is the only variety considered to be non-poisonous even when the fruit is not cooked. The fruit is perfect for juicing, jams, tarts, deserts, cordials, wine or fresh fruit. This elderberry plant is easy to grow, care for and can grow up to 4m high.
Soil PH level of 5.5 – 6.5. Prefers loamy to sandy soil, but will also tolerate clay soil.

The gooseberry is a bushy shrub growing up to approximately 1.5m tall that bears yellowy orange fruit in a papery envelope called a husk. The plant should be placed in full sun, but tolerates partly shade. It is easy to grow and grow in most soils, but prefers loamy soil with a ph between 5.5 and 7.0 (KCl). The plant is self-fertile.

The raspberry plant is an upright growing, semi-self supporting shrub which should be placed in full sun or partly shade. It prefers well drained, light sandy or sandy-loam soils with a ph level between 5.8 and 6.8 (KCl). Well decomposed compost should preferably worked into the soil before planting. It bears edible berries which can be used for fresh eating, juice, jams, tarts, deserts or teas. it is a flori-cane variety which will bear fruit twice per year, once in spring and a second time in autumn.
