Hellebore (Hellebores are also known as Lenten Roses).
These plain looking plants have beautiful, dainty flowers during late winter to early Spring (the name Lent-en gives a clue).
These plants are an ideal addition to shady, woodland gardens or areas with dappled sunlight. Ensure the soil is well-draining, rich in organic matter, and slightly alkaline. Compost or well-rotted manure can be added to enhance soil fertility.
Their cup-shaped flowers come in all different colours, including whites, pinks, purples, and even speckled varieties. They are all as individual as fingerprints. The plant you receive is unique, and will not look the same as the picture on this website.

Rare to find.
A quick growing evergreen tree or shrub growing up to 7m tall. It has fine, thinly pointed green leaves and its flowers are white fluffy bottlebrush-like and appear in summer.This incredibly powerful medicinal plant has a lovely scent when the leaves are touched/crushed – the tea tree oil smell.
The trees grow well in coastal conditions but can also withstand light frosts. Fresh sprigs rubbed onto windowsills and kitchen counters help control flies and mosquitoes. It will thrive in any soil but it needs full sun and a deeply dug and well-composted hole in which to get established. The secret is to cut it back to quite harshly every two or three years, to keep it vigorous, tidy and attractive.
The Tea tree is native to N Australia, S New Guinea and the Moluccas. · It is a hardy, medium-sized tree with papery bark, in several layers.
Medicinal Uses.
An easy-to-make lotion of leaves, sprigs and pieces of bark is a superb wash or spray for bites, rashes, scratches, heat rash, itchiness, fungal infections, acne and oily skin, and can be used as a rinse for oily hair and athlete’s foot.

This is a upright and fast growing lavender hybrid which flowers throughout the year. The blue purple flowers smell divine and are excellent for cutting and drying – for example for linen sachets and potpourris and to scent your room.
The plants do best in a well drained soil in a sunny part of your garden.
If you’re preparing the flowers for drying, cut them whilst fresh and hang them upside down to dry.Excellent also in pots, as a low hedge or in sunny dry spots in your garden. A Mediterranean inspired garden choice and very pretty when planted amongst ornamental grasses and in natural or formal gardens.
