Simple Care, Spectacular Results
This variety belongs to Pruning Group 2, meaning it’s easy to care for: just give it a light prune in late winter (July–August), cutting stems back to about 30 cm from ground level when dormant over winter. Otherwise prune back 1/3 and remove dead stems to create a taller plant. This encourages fresh, vigorous growth and maximizes the flower display. Its resilience and reliable blooming habit make The President an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
