The flower, which resembles a miniature lily, is very popular for bouquets and flower arrangements. These delicate flowers once cut, can survive up to 14 days in water. This form is variegated – it has beautiful white and green leaves. This Colorita River Valley alstromeria is a naturally compact variety that will flower all summer long from early spring. Pink flowers. Low maintenance and beautiful in containers or in the ground.
They are fairly heat tolerant but best planted in an area with afternoon shade. The roots are hardy to a temperature of 23 °F (−5 °C). The plant requires at least six hours of morning sunlight, regular water, and well-drained soil.
