Tall inflorescences with heavy white from pink racemes on tall peduncles characterise this florific little stemless aloe hybrid from late summer to well into the winter months. The racemes tend to bend and droop, creating quite a unique effect. Individual flowers are very delicately colored.
The plant is a fairly compact rosette of greenish-grey leaves with soft spines. It is capable of producing a number of stem shoots, certainly, more than the plant can effectively bring to maturity. Consequently, most of these shoots should be removed, leaving perhaps 3 or 4 that can add to the flower display when they are a little larger. Despite its small size, ‘Pink Pastel’ in full flower is quite beautiful. It should be treated as a container or pot subject.
