Lophophora fricii ‘Super White’ is a highly sought-after cultivated form of a small, spineless cactus native to northeastern Mexico. It is closely related to other Lophophora species and is known for its very pale, almost pure white appearance in this selected form.
Characteristics:
- Globular, button-like cactus with no spines.
- In the ‘Super White’ form, the body is extremely pale—white to creamy white, sometimes with faint green undertones.
- Surface is divided into rounded ribs or segments with soft woolly tufts at the growing points.
- Produces delicate pink to pale pink flowers that emerge from the crown.
- Slow-growing and long-lived, often forming clumps over time.
Cultivation:

Pot Shipping Option (Not Recommended)
While we do offer the option of shipping some plants in their pots, this is generally not advisable. Shipping a plant in its pot can result in root damage due to movement and stress during transit. The roots can become constricted or disturbed, which can harm the plant. If you are still interested in this option, it must be arranged in advance with the vendor, and we will take extra precautions to pack it as securely as possible. However, we highly recommend the bare-root shipping method to ensure the best possible outcome for your plant.
