Agave ‘Sun King’

A striking ornamental Agave prized for its bold rosette and beautiful golden-yellow and green colouring. Agave ‘Sun King’ develops broad, architectural leaves with an eye-catching colour contrast, creating a dramatic feature plant for collectors, succulent gardens and containers.

An excellent choice for a sunny, well-drained position. Provide bright light to full sun and use a fast-draining, mineral-rich growing medium. Water thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Avoid prolonged moisture around the roots, especially during cooler periods.

Astrophytum myriostigma var. nudum Variegated

A beautiful and highly sought-after variegated form of Astrophytum myriostigma var. nudum. This distinctive cactus is prized for its unusual colouration, with attractive green tissue displaying striking cream, yellow and sometimes reddish variegated patterns.

Its symmetrical, ribbed form and clean, smooth surface give it an elegant appearance, while the variegation makes every plant unique. A slow-growing collector’s cactus that is well suited to enthusiasts and specialist collections.

Provide bright light, excellent drainage and allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During winter dormancy, keep the plant considerably drier.

Tulista pumila (formerly Haworthia pumila) is a striking and slow-growing succulent native to the Western Cape of South Africa. Known for its architectural beauty, this plant forms compact rosettes of thick, fleshy, dark green to brownish leaves covered with prominent raised white tubercles, giving it a textured, bumpy appearance.

Tulista pumila can grow up to 20 cm (8 inches) tall and wide, with mature plants producing tall, slender flower stalks bearing small, tubular, pale pink to white flowers—typically blooming in late spring to summer. The leaves are triangular and curved inward, often with toothed margins, adding to its ornamental value.

This species is drought-tolerant and prefers well-draining soil, partial sun to bright indirect light, and minimal watering—making it ideal for rock gardens, succulent collections, or container displays. Tulista pumila is also prized for its resilience and unique form, often regarded as one of the most attractive members of the Tulista genus.
