This is a upright and fast growing lavender hybrid which flowers throughout the year. The blue purple flowers smell divine and are excellent for cutting and drying – for example for linen sachets and potpourris and to scent your room.
The plants do best in a well drained soil in a sunny part of your garden.
If you’re preparing the flowers for drying, cut them whilst fresh and hang them upside down to dry.Excellent also in pots, as a low hedge or in sunny dry spots in your garden. The Elderberry is an erect plant that can be placed in full sun. It is a truly multi-purpose plant and can be used for a hedge, wildlife attractant, landscaping and for their abundance of fruit. This variety is often used for health benefits as it is the only variety considered to be non-poisonous even when the fruit is not cooked. The fruit is perfect for juicing, jams, tarts, deserts, cordials, wine or fresh fruit. This elderberry plant is easy to grow, care for and can grow up to 4m high.
Soil PH level of 5.5 – 6.5. Prefers loamy to sandy soil, but will also tolerate clay soil.
