Beautiful white and green leaved hydrangea. Also known as a Christmas Rose in South Africa. Or hortensia for Europeans.
Deciduous, flowers Nov-Mar (eventual height approx 90cm).
The flowers are excellent for cutting.
Half sun or shade.

Aeonium zwartkop (black rose)
This striking aeonium has dark purple or black succulent leaves. It forms clumps of 3 to 4 feet tall with the stems topped with rosettes of its purple black leaves. It is mostly a winter grower and is somewhat dormant in warm, dry summers. The Black Rose Tree is a native of the Canary Islands and North Africa. Water wise, this is a great addition to your garden, introducing both texture and dark colour! Give it some water in hot weather though.
