Ericaceous (Acid) compost
Raithby, WC
Ericaceous compost is acidic and is beneficial for plants that like an acid soil. For example camellias, rhododendrons, erica’s etc.
Hydrangeas also benefit, making their colours more intense and also making certain flowers more blue in colour. The pH of an acidic soil is typically between 4.5 and 6.SKU: n/a -

Lychnis coronaria (pink)
Raithby, WC
Lychnis Coronaria (Rose Campion) is an evergrey perennial that deserves a spot in the landscape.
Very attractive with its erect, white-grey flowering stalks covered with a profusion of glowing magenta, pale pink or white trumpet-shaped flowers, it enjoys a long season of interest, is easy to grow, trouble free and not too fussy about soils or exposure. In short, the perfect perennial!
Grown as much for its decorative and abundant 1 inch flowers in bloom from late spring to late summer as for its basal rosette of woolly, silver-gray, evergreen leaves which provides interest in the winter garden, it thrives in full sun or part shade and enjoys average, medium, well-drained soils. While moist soils are preferred, it will tolerate poor, dry soils once settled. Good drainage is essential!
Grows up to 45-60 cm tall and 45cm wide.
For sale in South Africa. Couriered nationwide.

Haworthia Nigra
Oudtshoorn, WC
Haworthia nigra is a little succulent with a big attitude! With its dark, almost black, spiky leaves stacked in tight layers, it looks like it’s ready to join the goth plant club. Native to South Africa, this hardy little character doesn’t need much to thrive but always stands out with its unique look. Perfect for those who appreciate a plant that can rock the “all black everything” vibe!
Care Instructions:
Haworthia nigra prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some shade. Plant it in well-draining soil and water sparingly, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. It grows slowly and enjoys a light monthly feeding of diluted succulent fertilizer during the warmer months. Just remember: too much water makes it sulky!SKU: n/a -
