Conophytum obcordellum is a miniature, winter-growing succulent native to the arid regions of South Africa, especially Namaqualand. It is one of the most popular Conophytum species among collectors because of its attractive markings and compact growth.
Characteristics:
- Forms small, paired succulent bodies that are fused into a single rounded structure.
- The tops are often flattened and decorated with intricate patterns of dots, lines, or translucent windows.
- Body color ranges from grey-green to bluish-green, sometimes with reddish markings.

Conophytum obcordellum is ‘n klein wintergroeiende vetplant wat natuurlik in die droë gebiede van Suid-Afrika, veral Namaqualand, voorkom. Dit is een van die gewildste Conophytum-spesies onder versamelaars vanweë sy mooi patrone en kompakte groei.
Kenmerke:
- Vorm klein, saamgesmelte blaarliggame wat soos klein klippies lyk.
- Die bokant is dikwels plat met fyn patrone van kolletjies, strepies of deurskynende “vensters”.
- Kleur wissel van grysgroen tot blougroen, soms met rooierige merke.
- Dra relatief groot blommetjies in kleure soos geel, pienk, pers of wit, afhangend van die vorm.
- Vorm met ouderdom digte polle.
Verbouing:
- Wintergroeiend met somerrus.
- Benodig uitstekende dreinering.
- Water matig gedurende die groeiseisoen (herfs tot lente).
- Hou feitlik droog gedurende die somerrustyd.
- Groei die beste in helder lig met beskerming teen skroeiende somerson.

If you are still interested in this option, it must be arranged in advance with the vendor, and we will take extra precautions to pack it as securely as possible. However, we highly recommend the bare-root shipping method to ensure the best possible outcome for your plant.
