Buddleia is a shrub or large bush and is also called the butterfly bush because it gives off a sweet smell which attracts both birds and pollinators including bees and butterflies.
Buddleia (Buddleja) can grow to 6 or 10 feet high and just as wide. It is a perennial, semi-evergreen plant, meaning once it has flowered, it loses its foliage for a only a very short period of the year. The flowers of a buddleia appear in early summer through into autumn, and their fast growing speed makes them the perfect choice for those wanting a quick and easy evergreen bush with colour.
Buddliea’s commonly come in white and purple (Dark Knight), but also in yellow, pink, red and blue.

Indigenous to Mexico and Central America, the poinsettia was first described by Europeans in 1834.
A poinsettia needs six hours of indirect light daily, but bright sunlight can cause some damage. Place your plant behind a screen or curtain near the window.
Temperatures should be 16-21 degrees, cooler at night (around 13 degrees) if you can.

Description: Quaqua mammillaris is a much-branched, robust succulent shrub, up to 50 cm high, and 50-70 cm across, branched in a bushy manner which root from the primary stem only. The leaves are transmuted into hard thorns. Bunches of 3-15 velvety purple-brown flowers appears in autumn in the upper 2/3 of the stem, and open simultaneously, but are seldom seen in culture. The corolla is 20-27 mm across, the tube is yellow and purple-spotted.
