Blackwattle sets fire quite easily and leaves some residual heat from the coals. It is mostly used for open fireplaces & pizza ovens. It is also known as “kuierhout” and is often used for atmosphere fires. A favorite used for braaing, fire places or just perfect for a “kuier vuur”.
It is a softer wood, which will make igniting easier, burns quickly and emits a mild, pleasant aroma.
