Blue spires of flowers make this a stunning addition to a garden. This is a fast growing and tough perennial plant that grows in dry or clay or poor soil, but does need drainage. Bees love the flowers.
The blue flower spires can be up to 2 feet in length. Cut the spent flower spikes and finger pinch / gently prune to maintain a dense habit.

If you’re preparing the flowers for drying, cut them whilst fresh and hang them upside down to dry.Excellent also in pots, as a low hedge or in sunny dry spots in your garden. A Mediterranean inspired garden choice and very pretty when planted amongst ornamental grasses and in natural or formal gardens.
