Beautiful red-to-creamy white racemes adorn this lovely little grey-green, stemless plant in winter.
The sharply pointed leaves are covered in prominent but soft, white, warty spines. Some stem shoots may appear from under the main plant. Because of the stemless habit of the plant, it may be better to remove them because of space considerations. Aloe ‘Fire Opal’ is best cultivated in a container, but more mature plants may be moved to the front of the rockery.
Sold bare-rooted from 3.5L bag size.

We have a 24hour return policy should your bare-rooted aloe arrive damaged. Please send a picture of the item within 24 hours of delivery to grayruthe@gmail.com.
Please note: we do not offer cash refunds. We can either replace the aloe or issue a credit voucher for the value of the aloe only, and NOT the delivery fee. Should you wish to return the aloe, the delivery fee will be your responsibility.
Should you change your mind about the bare-aloe and want to return or exchange it, please let us know within 24 hours of delivery.
Please note: The responsibility for paying for additional courier fees for returns and exchanges falls to you.

This rubus plant is an upright growing, semi-self supporting shrub which should be placed in full sun or partly shade. It differs from Rubus Fruticosus which has thorns. It prefers well drained, light sandy or sandy-loam soils with a ph level between 5.8 and 6.8 (KCl). Well decomposed compost should preferably worked into the soil before planting. It bears edible berries which can be used for fresh eating, juice, jams, tarts, deserts or teas. A trellis system can be used to support the branches.
