Growing Tips

Plant in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well-draining soil. Provide a strong support structure as mature plants become heavy. Water regularly while establishing, then moderately thereafter. Prune twice yearly (mid-summer and winter) to maintain shape and encourage prolific flowering. Wisteria plants may take a few seasons to establish before flowering begins, but once mature, they deliver spectacular seasonal colour.
