Die Pachypodium brevicaule is ’n werklik unieke en pragtige sukkulent wat enige versamelaar of liefhebber van skaars plante sal betower. Hierdie plant, wat in Madagaskar ontstaan het, lyk soos ’n natuurlike bonsai met ’n plat, pannekoekagtige caudex en kort, stompie takke. Die heldergroen blare spruit seisoenaal uit en vorm ’n sagte afdak wat pragtig kontrasteer met die silwergrys stam.
