Shipping Policy
We courier nationwide - for the 2 litre and 5 litre plants ONLY.
PLEASE place a minimum order of R450 for our Keurbos plants
We normally send the plants on a Tuesday to minimise the chance they'll get stuck in a depot over the weekend.
(Also the plants before packing have some of the compost/soil taken off the roots so as to minimize weight for the courier.)
The 15 and 20 litre plants for practical purposes can only be collected at our nursery in Elgin. Or please feel free to arrange your own courier pickup.
For an additional fee of R650, we can arrange transport from our farm in Elgin to a pickup point near Somerset West/Stellenbosch Cape Town.
Please add your request on a note on your order.
PLEASE note that we have a minimum R450 per order for any plants from us (Keurbos Nursery).

Acers, Trees
Rooi Hek Japanese Acer
Grabouw, WC
Gorgeous 5L (23cm pot) Japanese Acer trees available.
This Rooi Hek acer is a little tougher than the others. It can take a little more sun, and a little more wind.
Care Guide –
partial sun, direct sunlight burns their leaves. Summer – water daily if extremely hot alternatively every second day. Winter water 2-3x per week
Fertilize every 10 days with organic fertilizer. Maples are deciduous and loose their leaves in winter. They sprout the most magnificent colours in spring and their autumn leaves turn bright yellow or orange.
Due to the fragile nature (& size) of these plants, they are click and collect from the nursery in Elgin only. Or you can arrange your own courier.
