’n Skaars en besonder interessante kuifvormige Echeveria wat gesog is vir sy ongewone groeiwyse. In plaas daarvan om ’n gewone enkele roset te vorm, verbred die groeipunt in ’n waaieragtige kuif, met massas diggepakte, tekstuurryke blare. Die fyn haartjies wat kenmerkend van Echeveria setosa is, maak hierdie versamelaarsplant nog interessanter.

🌱 Versorging: Gee helder lig met sagte oggendson om kompakte groei te bevorder. Gebruik ’n baie goed dreinerende vetplantmengsel. Gee deeglik water en laat die grond daarna uitdroog voordat weer water gegee word. Vermy water wat tussen die digte kuif vasgevang bly, aangesien dit verrotting kan veroorsaak.

✨ Interessante feit: Kuifgroei ontstaan wanneer die normale groeipunt verleng en verbreed in plaas daarvan om vanuit een enkele punt te groei. Dit veroorsaak die besondere golwende, waaieragtige vorm wat elke plant uniek maak.
