However, as with all things rare and beautiful, the Black Bamboo does come with its fair share of quirks. This diva of the plant world demands a sun-drenched stage of at least 6 hours per day and shuns the idea of being confined indoors.
This plant is available in a variety of ‘sizes’;
Due to the size and weight of these plants, the shoots/clums can be couriered nationwide, however the single stem and multi stem plants can only be click and collected from us OR delivered in the Jburg and Pretoria area for small fee (see shipping tab or price at checkout).
If you’re in the Cape Town/Helderberg area, please contact us for a price for couriering, we can maybe group an order together once every 6 weeks or so.* Can be invasive when planted in the ground. Roots will spread. May cause damage to paving, foundations etc

Angel Maya is the only variegated brugmansia available in South Africa. It is a beautiful shrub with large variegated leaves, that flowers in huge numbers every 6 to 8 weeks. This plant is particularly well suited for pots or to cut into small trees. It is a slow growing brugmansia with a small root system that allows you to plant it as a small tree and still to garden underneath it.
